Bananas!

Tuesday night, December 20th, Aedan got his first taste of real food--bananas!  It was bittersweet for me to watch--it's exciting to think of all the fun to come and so cool that we got to witness someone experiencing eating food for the very first time, but still kinda sad for me at the same time.  It means he's growing up and it means the beginning of the ending of nursing him (eventually).  And, it means his poop will get a lot grosser now, ha. :)

Ok Aedan, take a bite.  Just kidding.

  No, Dad!  Don't mash it up!  I was going to take a bite!

Ooh, what is that?

 Umm, I'm not really sure about this.

 Dad, that's gross.

 

 

 I think I need to get this out of my mouth.

Why are you laughing?  What is this stuff??

Ok, maybe this spoon is kinda cool.  Let me check this out.

Oooh--whatcha got in that bowl there, Daddy?  Let me see that.

Yuck.  How did this get all over me?

Ok, thanks Dad.  I'm all done.  Just wiping my mouth off.

Oh, ok.  It's just you Dad.  I love you still.  I just got a little freaked out there for a minute. 

 

 

Phew, that was hard work.  I think I'm getting a little tired now.  First time in my high chair and first time eating food.  That's a lot for a radnom Tuesday night.

Silly parents.  Why didn't y'all put a bib on me?
